Uppermill Canal WIFI

I was wondering about offering a WIFI (Wireless Network) connection that could give users near CanalCam in Uppermill (mainly Narrowboat users) some Internet access.

But I'm wondering what's the demand like?
Do a lot of Narrowboat owners want wireless Internet access or are they happy to use other methods, as suggested by the nice crew of No Problem.

Please post a comment and let me know your thoughts either about WIFI demand or the pros/cons of sharing your Internet connection with strangers.

You could just leave it open, but a lot will depend on who's nearby. Perhaps better to password it in some way and put the word out that boaters can phone you up or knock on your door, and you'll give 'em a WEP key. Or whatever they call it. Boaters will be transient and so they won't abuse it.
